I have one Toro blueberry and agree that the flavor is very bland. My favorite: Darrow.

We do, but it seems worse at the beginning of the season and we have enough bushes that I just accept the damage. I have bought cheap netting from the fabric store which can be used and attached to branches with clothes pins, but a hassle to pick then. This year everyone seems to have an abundance of berries.

10. 3 relatively new ones and then 7 we planted before we even built our house... planted in 1975. The old ones had stopped producing maybe because the trees had grown up so much around and so much tunneling by gray diggers. In 2022 I pruned them heavily and this year they are producing pretty well again.
